- NAKO Spaghetti (100 g balls): 2 balls each cream, light blue, light grey, dark grey, dark blue and brown; 9 mm crochet hook
- Needle with big eye

Abbreviations and information about stitches
beg = begin, c off = cast off, ch = chain stitch cl = cluster, dc = double crochet, nxt = next rep = repeat, sl st = slip stitch, tr = treble, yoh = yarn over hook, sp = space, st = stitch,
Treble cluster (tr cl): Crochet the number of tr up to last pull through, yoh and pull thread through all sts on hook.
Method Block (crochet 4)
Using cream, crochet 5 ch , sl st in 1st ch to form ring.
1st round: 3 ch, 1 tr in same ring, (3 ch , 2 tr cl) 5 times, 3 ch, sl st in top of 3 ch. C off.
2nd round : attach light grey in 3 ch-sp, (3 ch, 1 tr, 3 ch, 2 tr cl) in same sp, [2 ch, (2 tr cl, 3 ch, 2 tr cl ) in next 3 ch-sp] 5 times, 2 ch, sl st in top of 3 ch. C off.
3rd round : attach brown in 3 ch-sp, (3 ch, 1 tr , 3 ch, 2 tr cl) in same sp, [2 ch, 1 dc in 2 ch-sp, 2 ch, (2 tr cl, 3 ch, 2 tr cl) in next 3 ch-sp] 5 times, 2 ch, 1 dc in 2 ch-sp, 2 ch, sl st in top of 3 ch. C off.
4th round : attach light blue in 3 ch-sp, 1 dc in same sp, [1 ch, (1 tr, 1 ch) 6 times in next 1 dc, 1 dc in next 3 ch-sp] 6 times, sl st in 1st ch st. C off.
5th round: attach dark grey in 1st ch-sp betw 2 tr, 1 dc in same sp, (1 ch, 1 dc in next 1 ch-sp) 4 times, 4 ch, *(1 dc in next 1 ch-sp betw 2 tr, 1 ch) 4 times, 1 dc in next 1 ch-sp, 4 ch, rep from * to end, sl st in beg dc. C off.

Finishing off
Work in all loose ends. With light blue, crochet the blocks together according to the diagram with dc and work away loose ends. Crochet neck edge as follows:
1st round: with light grey attach in middle front betw 2 blue seams, 1 ch , 1 dc in same sp, 2 dc in 2 ch-sp, 1 dc in each st to 2 ch-sp, again 2 dc in 2 ch-sp, 2 dc in middle back in sp betw 2 blue seams, 2 dc in next 2 ch-sp, 1 dc in each st around and end with dc in beg sp, sl st in beg dc = 80 sts. C off.
2nd round: with dark grey 1 ch, 1 dc in same st, 1 ch, skip 1 dc, *1 dc in next dc, 1 ch, skip 1 dc , rep from * to end, sl st in beg dc.
3rd round: sl st to 1st ch-sp, 1 ch, 1 dc in same sp, 3 tr in next 1 ch-sp, *1 dc in next 1 ch-sp, 3 tr in next 1 ch-sp, rep from * to end, sl st in beg dc. Work away loose ends. Crochet with light grey and ch st a string as long as you choose and thread it through openings in neck edge. Tie in front.
