_ 4 mm crochet hook
_ 1 cushion

ABBREVIATIONS
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
ch st – chain stitch
sl st – slip stitch
COLOURS FOR FLOWERS
Crochet 25 flowers in different colour combinations:
Round 1-6 orange and round 7-8 pink
Round 1-6 pink and round 7-8 orange
Round 1-4 orange and round 5-8 pink
Round 1-4 pink and round 5-8 orange
Whole flower pink or orange
FLOWER
With 4 mm crochet hook make 4 ch st and sl st in 1st ch st to form small ring.
Round 1: *1 dc in ring, 3 ch st *, rep from * to * for a total of 3 times, sl st in 1st dc at start of round = 3 ch st loops.
Round 2: Crochet as follows in each ch st loop: 1 sl st, 3 ch st (count as tr), 4 dc and 1 sl st = 3 petals.
Round 3: 1 ch st, fold completed petal over and crochet on back in 1st ch st loop at base of petals as follows: 1 dc around 1st dc of round 1, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 3rd and 4th tr of 1st petal of round 2, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 1st and 2nd tr of 2nd petal, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 5th tr and sl st in 2nd petal, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 1st and 2nd tr of 3rd petal, 3 dc, sl st in 1st ch st at beginning of round = 5 ch st loops.
Round 4: crochet as follows in each ch st loop: 1 sl st, 3 ch st (count as tr), 5 tr, 1 sl st = 5 petals.
Round 5: 1 ch st, fold completed petal over and crochet at back in 2nd ch st loop and base of petals as follows: 1 dc around 1st dc of round 3, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 5th and 6th tr of 1st petal of round 4, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 4th and 5th tr of 2nd petal, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 3rd and 4th tr of 3rd petal, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 2nd and 3rd tr of 4th petal, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 1st tr and ch st of 5th petal, 3 ch st, 1 sl st in 1st ch st at beginning of round = 6 ch st loop.
Round 6: crochet as followsin each ch st loop: 1 sl st, 3 ch st (count as tr), 5 tr, 1 sl st = 6 petals.
Round 7: 1 ch st, fold completed petal over and crochet at back in 3rd ch st loop and base of petals as follows: 1 dc around 1st dc of round 5, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 5th and 6th tr of 1st petal of round 6, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 3rd and 4th tr of 2nd petal, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 2nd and 3rd tr of 3rd petal, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 6th tr and sl st of 3rd petal, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 5th and 6th tr of 4th petal, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 3rd and 4th tr of 5th petal, 3 ch st, 1 dc between 2nd and 3rd tr of 6th petal, 3 ch st, sl st in 1st ch st of round = 8 ch st loops.
Round 8: crochet as follows in each ch st loop: 1 sl st, 3 ch st (count as tr), 5 tr, 1 sl st = 8 petals. End off and sew in loose threads.
CUSHION COVER
Crochet 61 ch st, tr in 3rd st of crochet hook. 1 tr in each ch st to end, 3 ch st (count as tr), turn. 1 tr in 1st tr, 1 tr in each tr to end, 3 ch st, turn. Rep last row till cover is about 90 cm long. End off.
TO FINISH OFF
Place flowers in 5 rows of 5 each on one side of cover or as you like it. Sew flowers on cover. Fold cover in half with right sides together and sew up two sides. Put cushion inside and sew up openings.
