Method

Bottom

(The bottom is crocheted in a spiral. Therefore use a marker to indicate the first stitch of every round.) With Stone and 3 mm hook, crochet 36 ch st.

1st rnd: 1 dc in 3rd ch st from hook and in each of the next 32 ch st, 3 dc in next ch st (turnabout), turn and work on other side of the ch st strip, 1 dc in next 33 ch st, 3 dc in next 2 ch st-lp (turnabout) (not in 1st ch st).

2nd rnd: 1 dc in next 33 dc, 2 dc in next 3 dc (turnabout = 6 dc), 1 dc in next 33 dc, 2 dc in next 3 dc (turnabout = 6 dc).

3rd rnd: 1 dc in next 33 dc, 2 dc in next 6 dc (turnabout = 12 dc), 1 dc in next 33 dc, 2 dc in next 6 dc (turnabout = 12 dc).

4th rnd: 1 dc in next 33 dc, 1 dc in next 12 dc (turnabout = 12 dc), 1 dc in next 33 dc, 1 dc in next 12 dc (turnabout = 12 dc).

5th rnd: 1 dc in next 33 dc, [(1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc) 6 times (turnabout = 18 dc)], 1 dc in next 33 dc, [(1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc) 6 times (turnabout = 18 dc)].

6th rnd: 1 dc in next 33 dc, 1 dc in next 18 dc (turnabout = 18 dc), 1 dc in next 33 dc, 1 dc in next 18 dc (turnabout = 18 dc).

7th rnd: as rnd 6.

8th rnd: 1 dc in next 33 dc, [(1 dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc) 6 times (turnabout = 24 dc)], 1 dc in next 33 dc, [(1 dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc) 6 times (turnabout = 24 dc)].

9th rnd: 1 dc in next 33 dc, 1 dc in next 24 dc (turnabout = 24 dc), 1 dc in next 33 dc, 1 dc in next 24 dc (turnabout = 24 dc).

10th rnd: as rnd 9.

11th rnd: 1 dc in next 33 dc, [(1 dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc) 6 times (turnabout = 30 dc)], 1 dc in next 33 dc, [(1 dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc) 6 times (turnabout = 30 dc)].

12th rnd: 1 dc in next 33 dc, 1 dc in next 30 dc (turnabout = 30 dc), 1 dc in next 33 dc, 1 dc in next 30 dc (turnabout = 30 dc), sl st in beg-dc = total 126 dc. Do not cast off.

Sides

(Tube crocheted in the round) Continue with sides of bag as follows:
